<p><a title="www.uva.co.uk" href="http://www.uva.co.uk" target="_blank">UnitedVisualArtists</a> are a British-based collective whose current practice spans permanent architectural installation, live performance and responsive installation. Based in the UK, installations such as <a title="www.uva.co.uk/archives/126" href="http://www.uva.co.uk/archives/126" target="_blank">Speed Of Light</a> celebrates the tenth anniversary of broadband in the UK. Stripped back to its essentials, optical fibre is a thin strand of glass, with nothing more than a flickering beam of light traveling along it. United Visual Artists have used this beam as the starting point for the work.</p>

<p>While in Sydney we visited the suburb of Woollahra and fell upon one of the most incredible butcher shops we have ever seen during our travels.</p>
<p><a title="www.victorchurchill.com/" href="http://www.victorchurchill.com" target="_blank">Victor Churchill</a>&nbsp;is a temple of meat, literally. Cowhide wrapped walls behind glass, a "cold room" even Dexter would envy, and floor to ceiling Himalayan Salt Brick.</p>

<p><em><a title="http://walking-men.com" href="http://walking-men.com" target="_blank">Walking Men 99&trade;</a></em>&nbsp;was a site-specific Public Art Installation by <strong>Maya Barkai</strong>, surrounding the constructionsite of the Four Seasons Hotel in NYC&rsquo;s Downtown area, a photographic collage of 99 pedestrian traffic-light icons collected from around the world. <p>Years ago I was fortunate enough to be at the opening of the <a title="www.bellagio.com/amenities/fountains-of-bellagio.aspx" href="http://www.bellagio.com/amenities/fountains-of-bellagio.aspx" target="_blank">Bellagio Hotel and Casino</a> in Las Vegas. I'll never forget the excitement of the crowded palazzo as they watched in amazement the fountain in front of the hotel. <a title="www.wetdesign.com/" href="http://www.wetdesign.com/" target="_blank">WET Design of California</a> who designed the fountain has now outdone themselves in Dubai as well.&nbsp;Thousands of jets thunder below the surface shooting water hundreds of feet into the sky while dancing to music. It takes place once a year and I was fortunate enough to be in Sydney during this time. I was amazed at the sheer beauty of the art surrounded by breathtaking landscape of Sydney's eastern beaches.
